We service Northwest Indiana and surrounding areas
I fell in love with the Clydesdale horse when I was 9 years old, and I am so happy to share my mares to create custom memorable and picturesque carriage rides for weddings, community events, parades, engagements or just because. I have over 20 years of draft horse driving experience, and practice and compete frequently to sharpen the bond I share with my horses.
Emma and Mari are both registered Clydesdale mares, and have been working together for over 3 years. Emma is 7 years old and is our sweet girl-next-door type, while Mari is 6 years old, she is our pretty-but-sporty girl.
*Fun Fact: They have the same Birthday of May 10th, just a year apart.
Both are available to pull as a single horse or work together as a team-your choice!
This vintage Victorian Carriage was fully restored by the Amish in Summer of "22.
*check back frequently as we are always looking for other carriages and wagons to add to our fleet
Our wagon can seat up to 16 people- great for community events, family parties, parade promotion, holiday events, pub crawls, etc! This wagon is pulled by both our lovely mares. Equipped with lights for safety and visibility, and offers plenty of space for banners/advertisements. Wagon is entered by two steps in back.

Like humans, dogs, or just about every living thing-we need a job to do. Our event max is 3 hours to ensure the horse doesn't become overworked or stressed. The horses enjoy free-choice pasture during the growing season, and alfalfa mix hay in colder months, as well as grain and supplements every evening along with ample fresh water. We love our horses and they deserve to be treated with respect
We keep a close eye on the weather for all events. 20 F is the absolute coldest we work in, and in cases of extreme heat we may need to make adjustments for water and rest breaks. We adhere to all severe weather warnings/watches and hazardous travel warnings- we will try our best to catch "the clear window" in case of rain. We will contact you 2-3 days prior to your event to go over any weather concerns. Safety is priority!
Both Emma and Mari measure 17.2hh (about 6 foot at the shoulder), and weigh approx 1600lbs. They wear a size 7-8 scotchbottom horseshoe. They don't call them gentle giants for nothin'!
